Biographical Info

Atlas Protocol (ATP), incubated by Nebulas Labs and the xGoogler Blockchain Alliance (xGBA), is using blockchain technology to change the dynamics of the digital marketing industry, with a new ‘interactive’ advertising ecosystem.

ATP’s impressive list of founders are all ex-Googler’s and includes Duran Liu, former Head of Nebulas Labs; Cheng Li, former FreeWheel Engineering Director;  Hitters Xu, founder of Nebulas; Ellen Wang, founder of Linked-Media.

Technical advisers of the project are Jeremy Zhou, the first engineer of Google AdWords and co-founder of Jide Technology, along with Professor Ronghui Gu of Columbia University and co-founder of CertiK.

Investors include: SoftBank China Venture Capital (SBCVC), Baidu Ventures (BV), Fenbushi Digital and Danhua Capital (DHVC).

CHENG LU – Co-Founder & Engineer

Former Senior Software Engineer at Google NYC. Worked on speech recognition/biasing, assistant query understanding and knowledge graph in Google Play. Former Director of Engineering at FreeWheel NYC with 7+ years of experiences in building advertising system for the Internet, running engineering teams in both Beijing and New York. Graduated from Peking University with Master’s degree in Computer Science, with focus on information security.

DURAN LIU – co-founder & Growth

Previously Head of Nebulas Labs. Former Senior Software Engineer at Google HQ, leading multiple machine learning application projects in Google Play and Cloud Firebase. Former Senior Software Engineer at FreeWheel, initiating the first-generation mobile video advertising product. Former software engineer in IBM China Development Lab. Got Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Master’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
