Founded in 2014, Digital Asset Holdings LLC is a software company that develops and builds distributed ledger technology solutions for the financial services industry. Its software maps business logic and legal processes to cryptographic signature flows, as well as commits transactions to private or public distributed ledgers or traditional databases depending on the requirements of the use case.

The company offers its software and apps for various market segments, such as loans, securities, derivatives, and foreign exchange.  It serves various customers, including banks, dealers, exchanges, central securities depositories, custodians, central clearing counterparties, and other critical infrastructure providers worldwide.

Digital Asset has a distinguished board, with Blythe Masters as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and is based in New York with additional offices in London, United Kingdom; Zurich, Switzerland; Budapest, Hungary; and Sydney, Australia.

The company has strategic partnerships with Accenture, Broadridge, and PwC.

February 2017 – Digital Asset partners with the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) to replace the system known as ‘Chess’ that underpins post trades process of Australia’s cash equities market.

July 2018 – Google announces partnership with Digital Asset for the launch of its blockchain cloud services.

Hirani is an experienced entrepreneur with a prestigious professional background.  He served at Lockheed as a Software Engineer designing, developing and implementing software and hardware systems for NASA in Houston, Texas for the space program. Hirani worked at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust from 1994 to 1996 and was instrumental in its credit derivatives business in North America.  He founded and Chaired Creditex Group, Inc. until 2010.  As well as Digital Asset, he serves as Director of trueEX Group LLC, and sits on numerous Boards including FuturePerfect Ventures and LoanX, prior to its sale. Hirani is a Member of the National Council at Washington University, the New York Metro YPO Group and the Economic Club of New York.  He serves as Member of Investment Committee at NYC Seed. Crain’s New York Business listed him in the“40 Under 40“ list in 2006.  In 2007, he received the EY Entrepreneur of The Year Award for financial services.  Hirani obtained a B.S. in Computer Science in 1988 from Washington University , and holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, with an M.M. in Finance.

Wilson Jr., also known as Don, has a stellar background in investments. He started his career at LETCO, participating in a special training program, and was involved in numerous research projects and traded interest rate and currency options from off the trading floor. Beginning in 1989, he started trading in the Eurodollar options, and interest rate products tied to three month LIBOR, on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (“CME“). He has been instrumental in development of Eurodollar option pit into one of the largest and most successful option pits at any exchange. Wilson has also traded in the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (“LIFFE“) and in several different markets over the years, focusing on fixed income derivatives. Wilson has founded numerous companies including DRW Investments, and DRW Holdings in 1992 for which he is the CEO.  He is the Head Financial Advisor at L3 Development, and a Operating Partner and Advisor at VO2 Partners.  Wilson has been actively involved in GLOBEX, the electronic trading platform at the CME.  He graduated in 1988 from the University of Chicago with a B. A. degree in Economics.
