Biographical Info

Viant is a ConsenSys project designed to disrupt supply chains by building bespoke blockchain asset tracking solutions in the healthcare, oil and gas, and real estate industries.

Leveraging cryptographic security and smart contracts, Viant provides organisations verifiable insights as assets are managed and propagated through the entire supply chain.  Key components are:

Viant is beta testing and working with the following:
– GlaxoSmithKline – pharmaceutical company
– Imaginea – a zero carbon venture;
– Microsoft;
– The Wold Wildlife Fund – which seeks to create more sustainable fisheries.
– and an unspecified oil and gas company.

ConsenSys is a blockchain venture production studio, its global team is building an ecosystem of consumer-centric products and enterprise solutions using blockchain technologies, primarily Ethereum.  Viant, is just one of these.

TYLER MULVIHILL – Co-founder and head of Global Business Development

Tyler is the co-founder of Viant.io, a blockchain-based platform for modelling business processes, tracking assets and building the supply chains of the future. Tyler initiated, and is the Chair of, the Supply Chain Working Group within the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). At ConsenSys, he advises Fortune 500 companies on their supply chain strategy and use case development. Prior to joining ConsenSys, Tyler helped stand up the development of a fintech market offering, focused on delivering growth and operational improvement solutions to his clients. He is a registered CPA in the state of New York.

Viant is built from the ground up as an asset- and domain-agnostic platform, based on our team’s experience  We learned that it was costly and time-consuming to build an application, and there was no seamless way to translate a model into a decentralized application.

Comprised of three main components — Tracker, Modeler, and Smart Builder — Viant was built to solve these challenges.
